Medical Practice Operations Manager

Job Summary:
-Eastgate Medical Group- is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Patient Services Supervisor to join our team in Hornsea and Aldbrough. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Patient Services team, ensuring the delivery of effective and efficient caring services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the care navigation team, providing patient services including enquiries, signposting, repeat prescription processing, and waiting room management.
- Participate in routine reception tasks, including call handling and administrative functions.
- Review and implement team protocols, prioritizing task delegation and identifying task champions.
- Ensure effective communication on a day-to-day basis and manage the GP and nurse appointment system.
- Deal with minor patient complaints and grumbles, maintaining a suggestions box and comments book in liaison with the Practice Manager.
- Produce timely staff rotas, managing annual leave and cover arrangements.
- Ensure Practice policies and procedures are embraced and fully implemented, including health and safety, information governance, and equality and diversity.

Eastgate Medical Group is a GP Practice with a main site in Hornsea and a branch site in Aldbrough, as well as Hastings Medical Centre in Hull. As part of Symphonie Ltd PCN in Hull and Yorkshire Coast and Wolds PCN in the East Riding, we are a forward-thinking organization striving to provide high-quality patient care.
Our team is led by 9 GP partners, supported by other healthcare professionals, including Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Nurse Prescribers, Practice Nurses, and Healthcare Assistants. We support the development of our staff and are looking for the right person to join our team.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
