Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is a replacement post covering a combination of general paediatrics, paediatric endocrinology and diabetes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working within the multi-disciplinary team to provide and develop paediatric services to our patients.

Main Duties of the Job

  1. Provide a first-class clinical service to our patients
  2. Lead and support a team of clinicians in providing high-quality care
  3. Sustain and develop teaching and research in conjunction with King's College London/KHP
  4. Conduct clinical practice in accordance with contractual requirements and trust policies
  5. Maintain business plans and development strategies for the specialty

Person Specification

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • MRCPCH certification

Key Requirements

  • Wide experience in all aspects of paediatric endocrinology and diabetes mellitus
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and manage a team
