Job Title: FP&A Analyst

Michael Page (UK) is seeking a highly skilled FP&A Analyst to join their team in the North East. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Forecasting and Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts, reports, and operational metrics to inform business decisions.
  2. Financial Analysis and Modelling: Analyze financial data, create financial models, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  3. Collaboration with Accounting Team: Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Financial Performance Evaluation: Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement.
  5. Cost Analysis and Process Improvement: Guide the cost analysis process, establish policies and procedures, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified.
  2. Work Experience: Proven work experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications, hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.
  4. Knowledge and Skills: Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
