Job Title: Supply Teacher

Location: Plymouth and surrounding areas

Salary Range: £25,000 - £45,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time or part-time

Contract: Temporary or permanent

Job Summary: We are looking for primary and secondary teachers to fill various teaching vacancies in the Plymouth area. As a supply teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in different schools, covering day-to-day, long-term, short-term, and permanent positions.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver cover lessons with planning included
  • Implement school policies and procedures
  • Mark student work as needed
  • Maintain effective communication with school staff

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: QTS or ECT status (other teaching backgrounds considered)
  • Certificates: current DBS, or Update Service subscription (agency assistance available)
  • Experience: minimum 3-year reference history
  • Knowledge: up-to-date understanding of the curriculum
  • Skills: reliability and excellent communication skills
