Your Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement technical design solutions for water treatment and bioresources, adhering to industry standards and codes.
  • Collaborate with international teams to deliver integrated design solutions, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Manage time-sensitive projects, prioritizing tasks and budgets to meet critical milestones.
  • Maintain quality assurance standards in design, upholding AtkinsRéalis' commitment to excellence.

Requirements



  • Chartered Chemical/Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM) with a strong understanding of integrated waste-water and bioresources treatment processes.
  • Proven experience in design and operational aspects of main process unit operations, including primary/secondary/tertiary treatment, bioresource treatment and disposal, odour and energy management.
  • Familiarity with process safety techniques (HAZOP/DSEAR), capital and operational costs assessments, whole life carbon assessments, and UK environmental regulations.
  • Knowledge of process modelling techniques and software, with experience in using flexible and remote working tools.
