We are seeking a highly skilled Water Infrastructure Project Lead to join our team at RTL Group Ltd for a large-scale water project in North England.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the mechanical aspects of water treatment facilities and distribution systems, including supervising mechanical teams and ensuring installations are carried out safely and on schedule. This includes coordinating mechanical work across multiple project sites, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work on critical water infrastructure, leading a team of mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure high standards of quality and compliance with safety regulations. The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the mechanical aspects of water treatment facilities and distribution systems
  • Supervising mechanical teams and ensuring installations are carried out safely and on schedule
  • Coordinating mechanical work across multiple project sites, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

The ideal candidate will have a valid CSCS card, SMSTS certification, and proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or similar role. A strong knowledge of mechanical systems and their installation, maintenance, and operation in large-scale projects is essential. Relevant mechanical qualifications, such as an HNC or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, are also required.
