Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work 1:1 with a KS2 pupil with challenging behaviour at a lovely, inclusive primary school in East London.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. 1:1 Support for KS2 Pupil: Work closely with a KS2 student who displays challenging behaviour, providing consistent guidance and positive reinforcement to help them succeed in the classroom.
  2. Implement Behaviour Plans: Follow personalised behaviour support strategies, tailored to the pupil's needs, and adjust as needed to promote positive interactions.
  3. Promote Emotional and Social Development: Encourage the pupil's self-confidence, resilience, and social skills, helping them to engage positively with peers and teachers.
  4. Work with the School Team: Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to the child's learning and well-being.
  5. Be a Positive Role Model: Demonstrate patience, understanding, and a constructive attitude, guiding the pupil towards more positive behaviour patterns.
