Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading multiple projects from concept through to completion. You will interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that projects fully meet business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning - Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Project Execution - Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Project Monitoring - Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Risk Management - Designing risk mitigation plans and performing risk management to minimize project risks.
- Team Management - Direct internal and external project resources, co-ordinate meetings, and produce project reports.
- Relationship Management - Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Project Control - Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualifications - Degree qualified in an engineering or science discipline.
- Certifications - Prince II / PMP / APM PMQ certification or equivalent training/experience.
- Skills - A good knowledge of key regulations (e.g. DSEAR, CDM, COMAH) is preferable. Skilled in MS Office suite particularly Excel and MS Project. Strong verbal, written, and organisational skills.
- Experience - 3+ years working in a chemical manufacturing or process industry organisation. Experience working on a COMAH site. Evidence of CPD throughout career.
