About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be working a 3-shift pattern, taking control of a busy automated manufacturing area covering all aspects of machinery breakdown with a focus on continuous improvement and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively take responsibility for development of activities and projects to sustainably enhance the performance of plant & equipment.
  • Competence in root-cause fault-finding with resourceful short-term resolution with a drive to implement long-term fixes.
  • Equipment testing, fault finding and repair.
  • Develop and coach best practice maintenance methods amongst the Engineering and operations teams.
Requirements
  • Proven background as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with experience across varying voltages and systems.
  • Experience with risk assessments and adherence to safe working practices.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering as a minimum, ideally from an indentured apprenticeship.
