Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of new machinery, upgrading existing equipment, and providing essential maintenance support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively develop and implement activities and projects to enhance the performance of plant and equipment.
  • Utilize root-cause fault-finding techniques to resolve issues and implement long-term fixes.
  • Perform equipment testing, fault finding, and repair.
  • Develop and coach best practice maintenance methods amongst the engineering and operations teams.
Requirements:
  • Proven background as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with experience across varying voltages and systems.
  • Strong understanding of BS7671 wiring regulations and installation practices.
  • Familiarity with PLC Systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi) is desirable.
  • Experience with risk assessments and adherence to safe working practices.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering as a minimum, ideally from an indentured apprenticeship.
