Job Overview

SLR Recruitment seeks an experienced Document Control Specialist to join their team. This role involves operating the document control process effectively, ensuring the creation, management, and revision control of documents and drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage document creation, distribution, and archiving in accordance with the Document Distribution Matrix (DDM).
  2. Produce reports on document control activities, including query handling and transmittal management.
  3. Support the implementation of document numbering systems and metadata application.
  4. Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure effective document control procedures are followed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in document control and technical knowledge of Document Management Systems (DMS).
  • Understanding of government legislation related to data protection and copyright law.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with MS Office applications.
  • Familiarity with electronic file production, retention, and management.
  • Experience with file transfer portals and database management.
