Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. As a Haematology Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Haematology and Oncology services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver chemotherapy treatments to patients in line with Trust guidelines, ensuring safe and effective care.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to patients, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Support patients and their families through the cancer journey, providing education, guidance, and reassurance.
- Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring individualized and patient-centered care.
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to Trust policies and procedures.
- Registered Nurse with current registration with the NMC.
- Experience in Haematology or Oncology nursing, or willingness to learn and develop skills in this area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, as required.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education in Haematology and Oncology nursing.
