About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Housing Benefits Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with Support Workers to guide the process of claiming exempt housing benefits for our residents on our Active Opportunity Pathways.

Your key responsibilities will include tracking progress, solving blockers to ensure payments are made, and collaborating with our Finance team to build a system to track individual claims and process payments.

Additionally, you will help us develop a reporting suite that provides clarity on the progress of claims, enabling The Housing Network to have a comprehensive understanding of the overall picture.

This is a full-time position based in our Luton head office, with the possibility of hybrid working in the future. The salary for this role is £32,000.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide the process of claiming exempt housing benefits for residents
  • Track progress and solve blockers to ensure payments are made
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to build a system for tracking individual claims and processing payments
  • Develop a reporting suite to provide clarity on claim progress
