Housing Surveyor Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Housing Surveyor to join our team at RISE WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS LTD. As a key member of our Repairs, Voids and Maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance of our 5000+ Council owned homes.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting and project managing the rectification of properties to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety and condition.
  • Carrying out inspections of homes to prioritize repairs, adaptation, and improvement work.
  • Managing the health, safety, and condition of council owned dwellings through identification of defects and analysis.
  • Planning, preparing, and procuring works programs to time, budget, and quality from inception to completion.
  • Managing contractors delivering inspection, risk assessment, renovation, servicing, and maintenance to council owned property.
  • Participating in emergency planning and taking part in surveys and inspections of council owned property to diagnose repair defects.
  • Preparing strategies, reports, and feasibility studies into specific related subjects.
  • Occasionally diagnosing customer repair enquiries and offering effective remedial works to reduce site inspections.
  • Working with contractors, placing orders for remedial works, and monitoring from start to completion.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Housing Surveyor to take the lead on the design, procurement, and administration of various projects, refurbishment, responsive repairs, and cyclical maintenance on behalf of the Housing Property team.
