About the Role

Climax Studios, a leading creative force in independent games development, is seeking an experienced VFX artist to join our team. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for creating innovative visual effects for our games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement realistic VFX animations in Unreal 4/5
  • Develop and optimize material shaders and blueprints
  • Collaborate with our VFX programmers to integrate and refine visual effects
  • Critique and iterate on visual effects with the team
  • Adhere to established art styles and pipeline processes
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of industry experience in VFX or a related field
  • Proven expertise in Unreal 4/5 and Maya
  • Strong VFX skills, including particle simulations and material shaders
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Artistic education to at least graduate level
