Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with autism in a KS1 or KS2 class.

About the Role:
  • Work 1:1 with an autistic pupil in KS1 or KS2
  • Create and lead intervention sessions for SEN groups
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Follow pupils' targets in line with their EHCP
  • Monitor pupils' progress
Requirements:
  • Experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant
  • Good understanding of supporting children with autism

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a popular 2-form entry mainstream primary school in Croydon. The ideal candidate will be confident in supporting pupils with ASD and have relevant classroom experience.

Please note that this position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.

Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.

You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
