Funeral Service Assistant Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Funeral Service Assistant to join our team at Dignity Funeral Directors. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our Funeral Directors and helping to ensure the highest standards of service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist Funeral Directors with funeral preparations and arrangements.

- Provide emotional support to clients during difficult times.

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our funeral homes and vehicles.

- Participate in the on-call rota and be available to work flexible hours.

- Develop strong relationships with clients and their families.

Requirements:

- Full UK Manual Driving License.

- Ability to lift and carry heavy weights.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
