Job Summary

The Assistant Shop Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales and results at Green Oak Village Plaza, Brighton. As an ambassador for the brand, this individual is dedicated to providing a shopping experience that satisfies the functional and emotional needs of customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Elevate In-Store Experience: Model CEL behaviors, coach associate behaviors to achieve store goals, and respond to customer requests and/or feedback with a high sense of urgency.
  2. Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Maintain DSW store standards, complete daily open/close tasks, and ensure all tasks are completed related to store cleaning, recovery, and maintenance standards.
  3. Support Store Operations: Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or other leader, including supervising Leads in the planning and execution of all inventory management related activities.
  4. Drive Sales and Success: Maintain sales floor and stockroom, enable the flow of merchandise to ensure an appealing experience to consumers, and leverage inventory reports to maximize productivity and merchandise presentation.
  5. Omni Channel Expertise: Responsible for all omni activities in store, including Charge/Send, BOPIS/BOSTS, and Delivery.
  6. Supply Chain Management: Maintain supply inventory to ensure a successful floor moves, markdowns, and fulfillment in areas of stockroom, cashwrap, clearance, and non-sales areas.
  7. Leadership and Development: Support the Store Manager in bringing DSW's Mission, Vision & Strategy to life in the store, work closely with the Store Manager to understand and follow policy and procedure, and assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates.
  8. Associate Relations: Assist the Store Manager in resolving associate relations matters, participate in the Performance Review process, and support team in managing payroll and associate timekeeping activities.
Requirements

Minimum 2 years retail experience and a high school graduate or equivalent are required for this role.
