Nurse Team Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Team Manager to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing effective leadership, clinical expertise, and positive role modeling to our nursing staff.
The successful candidate will have significant post-registration experience in general Paediatrics at a junior management level and will be able to demonstrate their ability to prioritize, organize workload, and delegate and supervise tasks appropriately.
You will be responsible for coordinating and managing patient care, the shift/unit, and team, and will have a proven track record of implementing and managing change. Additionally, you will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work across professional teams and organizational boundaries.

Main Responsibilities- Provide effective leadership, clinical expertise, and positive role modeling to nursing staff
- Coordinate and manage patient care, the shift/unit, and team
- Implement and manage change, prioritizing workload and delegating tasks as needed
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and families
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
- Significant post-registration experience in general Paediatrics at a junior management level
- Proven track record of implementing and managing change
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work across professional teams and organizational boundaries
- Strong leadership and management skills
