Role Overview

The LME Broker will be responsible for executing trades, managing client relationships, and mitigating risk. Key responsibilities include:

  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, price movements, and economic indicators relevant to base metals trading.
  • Risk Management: Assess and manage risk associated with arbitrage trading strategies, ensuring compliance with risk management policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of trades, client interactions, and market analysis, preparing regular reports on trading performance and market conditions for internal and client review.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of LME and CME markets, including contract specifications, trading mechanisms, and market dynamics, as well as familiarity with risk management systems and procedures.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
