Pay: £14.03 per hour

Location: In person

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting waste and refuse to designated collection points.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle to collect and transport waste and refuse
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times
  • Manage your own work to meet deadlines and performance standards
  • Communicate effectively with customers and clients
  • Assist with loading refuse bins as required
  • Have a good level of English communication skills
  • Hold a Cat C driving licence, in-date CPC card, and in-date digital Tachograph card
  • Have experience with Roll-on, Roll-off operations

Shifts and Pay:

  • Driver 1: Friday - Monday, 10:00 - 21:30 with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break
  • Driver 2: Tuesday - Friday, 09:30 - 21:00 with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break
  • Pay rate: £14.03 per hour

Requirements:

  • Hard working and dedicated individual with a can-do attitude
  • Customer focused worker with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage your own work and meet deadlines
  • Good island knowledge
