About the Position

At Cy Resourcing, we are seeking an experienced Payroll and Accounts Associate to support our accounts department. As a permanent role, you will be responsible for managing various financial operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Purchase Ledger System: Process purchase invoices, ensuring alignment with orders and delivery notes. Resolve any disputes or discrepancies within the purchase ledger.
  2. Student Invoice Generation: Create and dispatch invoices for students through Xero, ensuring timely delivery.
  3. Monthly Creditor Reporting: Compile and distribute monthly lists of creditors to maintain accurate financial oversight.
  4. Student Account Management: Post charges to student accounts and maintain organized records.
  5. Accounts Department Support: Assist in daily operations, contributing to efficient workflow and processes.
  6. BACS Payment Processing: Facilitate weekly BACS runs for invoices due for payment, ensuring all necessary details are recorded.
  7. Reconciliation Tasks: Conduct monthly reconciliations of the purchase ledger and bank accounts to ensure accuracy in Sage.
  8. Credit Card Reconciliation: Gather and reconcile credit card payments with ledgers, ensuring all transactions are backed by documentation.
  9. Expense Calculations: Accurately calculate and document expenses for financial tracking.
  10. Data Analysis: Produce and analyze financial comparisons to inform decision-making.
  11. Enquiries Assistance: Address inquiries from students, staff, and agents related to petty cash, pocket money, and student deposit accounts.
  12. New Staff Onboarding: Handle onboarding new staff, including processing DBS applications and updating the single central register.
  13. Payroll Management: Process monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  14. Payroll Record Keeping: Maintain the payroll processing system by gathering and inputting relevant data.
  15. Pension Scheme Management: Oversee workplace pensions, ensuring updates and year-end processing are completed.
  16. Utility Contract Renewals: Manage utility contract renewals to ensure continued service provision.

This position comes with a competitive salary of £32,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
