About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aftersales Service Technician to join our team at Aprirose Limited. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing service and maintenance tasks, compiling comprehensive reports, and ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Service and Maintenance Tasks: Perform routine service and maintenance tasks on industrial refrigeration equipment, ensuring all relevant documentation is completed.
  2. Spare Parts Installation and Service Inspections: Conduct spare parts installation and service inspections following established procedures, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.
  3. Travel and Investigations: Travel for job-related purposes as necessary, conducting investigations and troubleshooting as needed, and providing written documentation of findings.
  4. Installation and Testing: Execute installation tasks as required, performing testing and commissioning of equipment to ensure all relevant documentation is completed.
  5. Health and Safety: Maintain safe working practices at all times, adhering to Health & Safety policies and ensuring the health and safety of oneself and colleagues.
  6. Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with customers, providing continuous feedback on market conditions for overall business benefit.
  7. Business Growth: Contribute to business growth in line with specified targets, identifying opportunities within the customer base for service sales and developing relationships with prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Industrial Refrigeration Experience: Must have experience of industrial refrigeration equipment and systems.
  • Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Background: Possess a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Previous Experience in Servicing / Maintaining Machinery: Have previous experience in servicing and maintaining industrial refrigeration equipment.
  • Qualifications: Hold a City & Guilds 2079 qualification, with a preferred City & Guilds 2078 (Ammonia) qualification.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a high standard of technical expertise in various types of machinery and a strong understanding of industrial and commercial heating and refrigeration systems.
  • Communication Skills: Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships with customers and colleagues.
