We are seeking a skilled and friendly Receptionist to join our team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As the first point of contact for patients, carers, visitors, and staff, you will play a vital role in providing a welcoming and positive experience for everyone accessing our service.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service, responding to enquiries, and dealing with telephone calls in a friendly, helpful, and sympathetic manner
* Receive and direct visitors and patients, notifying the appropriate person of their arrival
* Maintain the reception area to a high standard, ensuring it is clean, tidy, and well-organized
* Administer the receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring outgoing mail is sent appropriately and in a timely manner
* Ensure that all clinic rooms and meeting rooms are made available for use
* Provide cover in cases of sickness or absence
Requirements
* A driving license and access to a vehicle are required to ensure flexibility to cover both sites
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, carers, visitors, and staff
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
