">We are seeking a skilled Building Services Technician to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions in Cambridge. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of £44,500 per annum.
">About the Role
">The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the building services systems within a hospital setting. These duties will include:
">- Monitoring and maintaining mechanical plant and equipment
- Pumps, motors, seals, and bearings maintenance
- Air conditioning system maintenance, including air handling units and fan coil unit cleaning
- Water treatment tasks, including temperature checks and monitoring
- Plumbing duties, such as unblocking toilets and replacing taps
- Monitoring BMS systems and performing basic electrical tasks
- General building fabric maintenance
- Escorting specialist subcontractors on-site
Working Hours and Overtime
">The working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday, with early and late shifts available (07:00 - 15:00 and 14:00 - 22:00). Overtime opportunities will also be available.
">Requirements and Qualifications
">To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
">- Mechanical qualifications, such as NVQ or City & Guilds
- Trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled abilities
- Good communication skills
- Able to obtain Enhanced DBS clearance
