Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Support Specialist to join our Theatre team in Birmingham. As a key member of the surgical team, you will be responsible for supporting theatre staff with patient preparation, surgery procedures, and post-operative care.

This is a full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) with a competitive salary of £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your basic salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including 25 days' annual leave, buy and sell flexi-leave options, and private medical cover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist theatre staff with patient preparation and surgery procedures
  • Provide a high level of patient care and support during and after surgery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth operating room workflow
Requirements
  • HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
