About Our Company:
Piolax Limited is a global leader in plastic injection moulding, serving the automotive sector.
We require a highly skilled Project Engineer to lead our UK automotive manufacturing site.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing NPI and supporting project management activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement project timelines within NPI frameworks
- Coordinate customer and supplier interactions across project stages
- Contribute to tool costing estimates, including auxiliary equipment
- Support sales teams with costing information
- Collaborate with internal departments
- Analyze historical data for NPI input
- Work closely with the toolroom on toolmaker coordination and tracking
- Contribute to tool development through trial processes
- Prepare documentation for production trials
- Maintain the Global Product Lifetime Management System (GPLM)
Essential Skills:
- Project Management or Engineering Degree
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Strong English and maths skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Estimated Salary Range: £55,500 - £67,000 per year, based on experience.
