About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Academy HR Director to lead our HR function, delivering a professional and proactive service. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage complex employee relations cases, including dispute resolutions, investigations, grievances, capability, disciplinaries, redundancies, attendance, and TUPE transfers.
  • Lead the HR Administrator, providing guidance on work priorities.
  • Ensure HR matters are handled effectively for inspections and compliance.
  • Oversee staff recruitment and selection, including onboarding and off-boarding processes.
  • Develop and implement performance review programs for employees.
  • Promote employee training requirements and monitor their progress.
  • Manage training and development plans to ensure high standards.
  • Utilize data protection, equality, and health and safety knowledge in decision-making.
  • Prioritize innovative thinking and rational problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Generalist or HR management experience with considerable autonomy.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, data protection, equality, and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft packages and Google suite knowledge.
  • $Competitive salary, holiday allowance, and benefits package.
  • 100% office-based role, Monday to Friday.
