Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at dnata Travel Group in Leyland. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing customer payments, resolving related queries, and reconciling bank statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer payments and resolve any associated queries
  • Balance sheet reconciliations of card payments & refunds
  • Evaluate & reduce fraud
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Posting of monies onto the ledger
  • Create weekly debtor reports
  • Highlight and follow processes for escalating bookings not paid within agreed terms

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous finance experience – ideally in an accounts receivable role in a large organisation or shared service centre environment
  • Experience of banking or balance sheet reconciliations
  • Previous experience of working to monthly targets & goals
  • IT literate with excellent Excel skills
  • Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail

About the Role:

This is a hybrid role, working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues, and possess great team working skills.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
