About the Role

The Artificial Intelligence Collaboration Centre (AICC) is a £16.3 million investment by Invest Northern Ireland (INI) and the Department for the Economy (DfE) for a 5-year pilot project to increase business awareness and adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in Northern Ireland. Ulster University is leading the AICC in partnership with Queens University Belfast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide the AICC in the ethical development and use of AI.
  • Advise on ethical issues in AI design, implementation, and use.
  • Create guidelines and policies for responsible AI usage.
  • Develop and execute a plan with meticulous attention to detail.

About You

  • Honours degree (level 6) from a relevant discipline.
  • Significant proven experience in developing and implementing policy frameworks.
  • Evidence of having led on identifying ethical challenges affecting businesses.
