Entrust Social Care Ltd is seeking a skilled Social Work Consultant to join their team. As a Social Work Consultant, you will provide high-quality consultancy and advice to staff within Children's Services and other agencies in relation to allegations against members of the children's workforce.

You will have 2+ years of experience in UK child protection work, including reviewing officer roles and chairing child protection conferences. Your responsibilities will include undertaking initial evaluations of all allegations reported, advising on future management of all concerns and allegations, and developing robust plans for children and young people that keep them safe, reduce risk and promote better outcomes.

  • Developing and implementing coordinated plans for children in need and those in need of protection
  • Chairing child protection conferences and making recommendations about when a conference is required
  • Providing consultancy and advice to staff within Children's Services and other agencies

This is a part-time contract with flexible working hours by negotiation. The salary for this role is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have DipSW or equivalent qualifications, HCPC registration, current CRB, and a car driver's license.
