What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Review stock and operational activities within the warehouses; make decisions regarding these based on area performance monitoring and evaluations against key performance indicators.
  • Enjoy a high level of stock responsibility, investigating product specifications, correct product codes, and descriptions which conduct cycle counts, and auditing.
  • Communicate with all levels of colleagues, the customer team, and management from National Highways, engineers, and project sponsors based at the maintenance depots.
  • Ensure the IT warehouse system is maintained and ensure all data is accurate and up-to-date.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Strong IT, organizational, and administration skills are essential as the role involves a high degree of system interaction and stock accuracy.
  • Experience of working with computer packages, including stock management systems, Oracle WMS experience is desired but not essential, training will be provided.
  • Able to work on your own initiative.
  • A full, clean driving license is required, holiday cover at different regional store depots across the UK will be required as part of the job.
