Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a leading provider of renewable energy from food waste to recruit a Plant Operations Manager for their state-of-the-art facility in North Cheshire. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the site runs at maximum efficiency, with a competitive salary and benefits including private health care and car allowance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience working in anaerobic digestion or a similar processing environment, with legislative and industry awareness and knowledge. Key responsibilities include ensuring on-site operations run to maximum efficiency, working with the management team to establish process and performance using KPIs, and managing and maintaining the site's resources. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring plant operations maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and licenses, and for ensuring the highest possible standards of Health and Safety are maintained. The role would suit someone with a degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline or Waste Management, and who is IOSH certified. The salary and benefits package includes a competitive salary, car allowance, private health care, and 25 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays.
