We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Respite Nurse to join our team at James Hopkins Trust. As a Respite Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and their families, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic care to children and their families, including medication administration, wound care, and emotional support.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the child's needs are being met and make adjustments as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in quality control monitoring and auditing processes to ensure the safe delivery of care.
- Registered Children's Nurse or RNC/RN with Paediatric Experience.
- Live entry on NMC Register.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain boundaries.
- Flexible and able to work on own initiative.
- Competent in drug calculations and willing to learn and undertake appropriate training.
