Lead Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Information Security Analyst to join our team at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd. As a key member of our Data Governance and Information Security (DGIS) department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical, procedural, and policy advice to business stakeholders and engineers to ensure compliance with company policy and best security practices.
- Conduct in-depth risk assessments and threat modeling to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop recommendations for mitigation.
- Review and recommend improvements to security architecture to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
- Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to ensure that security is integrated into all phases of the business.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide subject matter expertise on security-related topics to support the development of security awareness programs and training initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies to ensure that our security posture remains effective and efficient.
- Strong technical understanding of security concepts, including risk management, threat modeling, and security architecture.
- Experience with security frameworks, such as NIST, PCI-DSS, and OWASP.
- Knowledge of cloud security platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Experience with security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
