As a Power Systems Engineer at Arqiva, you will provide technical engineering services with minimal supervision in mechanical and electrical servicing, repairs, maintenance, supervision, and installation. This role is based in North London, with travel required to various sites in the UK.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing planned works and maintenance on a range of systems and networks
  • Responding to faults and service outages and completing corrective maintenance in line with Arqiva standards, policies, and procedures
  • Supporting upgrades and modifications to existing systems and networks following agreed instructions
  • Maintaining accurate records, documentation, and reporting of actions taken
  • Completing testing and measurements to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, and customer requirements

Requirements include:

  • City & Guilds 2382 - 18th Edition Regulations
  • Previous experience in Field Services or completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship in a similar environment
  • Working knowledge of the principles of power supplies, HVAC Systems, ACBs, Generator Systems, Static UPSs, Static Switches
  • Working knowledge of and ability to apply Safety, Health, and Environment legislation, policies, and procedures
