Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for providing mentorship to other team members, including the provision of annual reviews and development plans. You will also support product approval, software integration, and project delivery, ensuring that products, tools, and processes remain fit for purpose and enable continuous improvement by proactively dealing with obsolescence.

  • Design and Development: Design and develop electronics systems and components at the component/PCB/enclosure level, integrating COTS-based hardware products/systems with custom application software.
  • Electronics Engineering Discipline: Possess a degree or equivalent experience in an electronics/electrical engineering discipline, as well as requirements for Electrical Installations (16th or 17th edition) from the Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering (C&G).
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Analog and Digital Circuit Design: Experience with designing analog and digital circuits, including COM carrier board design.
  • EMC Compliance: Knowledge of designing for EMC compliance and sound understanding of EMC testing.
  • Embedded Software and Operating Systems: Proficiency with embedded software and operating systems, including Intel processors and bus translation (e.g., PCIe to local buses).
