General Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our UK team and drive business performance in a period of operational change. Reporting to the Group Managing Director, you will be responsible for delivering business results, achieving budget, and optimizing profit for a £15M turnover business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive the UK team to achieve business objectives
  • Oversee the newly created 'Small Works/Aftermarket' Business unit
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of customer contracts and frameworks
  • Deliver projects on time, within/under budget, and to technical and commercial specification
  • Ensure robust supply chain governance and auditing
  • Manage P&L of companies between £20M - £40M turnover in the Engineering Services Sector
  • Previous board experience and international group culture experience
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness
  • Project management experience with contracts exceeding £10m GBP
