About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Facilities Management and Laboratory Services to join our team at UCB. As a key member of our Facilities department, you will be responsible for managing the provision of soft facilities management services to our UK and Ireland property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the delivery of facilities management services to research scientists and corporate offices.
- Ensure services are provided to a consistent and appropriate standard, meeting customer needs and within departmental budget.
- Manage laboratory operations, including timely supply of materials and reagents, engineering support, and equipment supply.
- Oversee front-of-house services at the Slough campus.
- Provide and manage cleaning and waste management services to the Slough and Windlesham campus.
- Manage catering services to the Slough campus.
- Develop and implement an integrated transport management system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Comprehensive experience in facilities management service delivery.
- Contract management experience.
- Experience in budget management.
