Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Facilities Management and Laboratory Services to join our team at UCB's Slough campus in the UK.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the provision of soft facilities management services to our UK and Ireland property portfolio, including the Slough, Windlesham, and other UCB legacy properties. This will involve coordinating the delivery of services to research scientists and corporate offices, ensuring consistency and quality standards, and managing budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the delivery of facilities management services to research scientists and corporate offices.
- Ensure services are provided to a consistent and appropriate standard, meeting customer needs and budget constraints.
- Manage laboratory operations, including timely supply of materials and reagents, engineering support, and equipment supply.
- Oversee Front of House services at the Slough campus.
- Manage Cleaning and Waste Management services at the Slough and Windlesham campuses.
- Provide and manage Catering Services at the Slough campus.
- Develop and implement an integrated transport management system, including bus services, green initiatives, and taxi/chauffeur management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Comprehensive experience in facilities management service delivery.
- Contract management experience.
- Experience in budget management.
