Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a leading manufacturer in Selby to recruit a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned, predictive, and reactive mechanical maintenance to ensure the optimum efficiency of all machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned, predictive, and reactive mechanical maintenance promptly and efficiently.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections (PM), diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections (DEI) and greasing schedules.
  • Collaborate with contractors/vendor service teams when specialized skills are required.
  • Support the implementation of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for all repairs, servicing, and modifications to equipment.
Requirements
  • Apprentice-trained or relevant mechanical engineering qualifications.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions, including outdoor and production area environments.
  • Ability to be on call out of hours on a rota system.
