About the Role: We are seeking an Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team at EMED Group, the largest Patient Transport and Care Partner to the NHS. As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing patient transport services to our local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transporting patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities
  • Providing a high level of empathy and support to patients and their families
  • Assisting with the handling and lifting of patients
  • Building rapport with patients and their families through effective communication

Requirements:

  • Valid UK manual driving licence
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings and evenings
  • Effective communication skills and experience of communicating with others in emotional circumstances
  • Physical fitness for patient handling and moving
  • Enhanced DBS check (company-funded)
