Patient Flow Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Flow Coordinator to join our team at The London Clinic. As a key member of our Customer Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient admission of patients to our wards and rooms.
Key Responsibilities- Allocate rooms according to the current admission list, planning ahead and working with Ward Managers to maintain high levels of service and quality.
- Check and monitor pre-admission documents in advance to determine insurance cover, self-pay or Letter of Guarantee requirements.
- Allocate following days admissions as far in advance as possible with support from Ward Managers.
- Prepare daily reports on projection figures for bed occupancy and capacity.
- Demonstrable experience of being a Manager, Team Leader or Supervisor of a Patient Flow, Bed Management or Admissions Office.
- Experience of applying SLAs / KPIs to drive performance is essential.
- Experience of working in a high pressured, performance driven environment is essential.
- Working knowledge of inpatient hospital admissions and patient pathways is desirable.
- Working within an independent healthcare environment / hospital with leadership duties is advantageous.
