Clark Wood is delighted to be partnering with a modern independent firm of accountants in the heart of England who are looking for a Personal Tax Senior to join their growing team.

The role will offer the chance to work directly underneath the tax partner, shadowing and gaining experience from one of the most recognised Tax partners in the region in a mixed compliance and advisory capacity.

The role is predominantly remote based, with the team meeting up once a week in the office.

An estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This could be the perfect role for someone with a strong background in personal tax and a passion for delivering top-notch client service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of tax clients with responsibility for preparing tax returns and computations
  • Providing expert advice on personal tax matters to clients
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations while identifying tax planning opportunities
  • Liaising with clients and handling tax queries efficiently and professionally

Candidate requirements:

• ATT Qualified, or equivalent experience within tax

• Prior experience working in a firm of Chartered Accountants, specifically in a personal tax-focused role

• Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
