Key Responsibilities:

  • A good working knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum is essential
  • Experience in supporting quality learning experiences for pupils and delivering small group work is required
  • Following school policies and procedures regarding safeguarding and behavior is crucial
  • Working with children of mixed abilities, including those with SEND, is a key aspect of this role
  • The ability to build positive relationships with staff and students is vital
  • Show initiative and ask for direction when needed

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications or teaching assistant experience in the classroom (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in childcare) is necessary
  • UK experience as a teaching assistant is required
  • An enhanced DBS certificate registered with the update service or willingness to complete a new DBS is essential

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on location and experience
