About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Worker to join our team at CareTech UK. As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to young people who need our support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in a positive, respectful, and empowering way with all young people to promote good relationships and encourage achievements.
  • Participate in and encourage the participation of the young people in domestic tasks to develop their self-care skills.
  • Write review reports, risk assessments, and contribute to care plans.
  • Liaise with parents and partner agencies to ensure the best interests of the young people are respected and promoted at all times.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of the developmental needs and milestones of young people.
  • Experience of working with children and families.
  • Driving Licence.
  • Ability to communicate, engage, and form positive relationships with young people, parents/carers, and other professionals.
  • HNC in Social Care, SVQ level 3 in Care, or equivalent qualification.
