Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 1

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide individual support to a pupil with specific needs.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work closely with the pupil, supporting them in class and working individually on a tailored education plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support to a pupil with individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with the pupil, teachers, and other support staff to achieve educational goals
  • Support the pupil in class, adapting to their needs and abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to promote learning and development
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with pupils with special needs
  • Enhanced DBS and EWC registration
