Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our KS2 Resource Provision team at Gwenfro Community Primary. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting access to learning for pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and complementing the professional work of teachers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities for individuals, groups, or short-term whole-class sessions
  • Monitor pupils' progress, assess, record, and report on their achievement, progress, and development
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement learning plans
  • Provide support and guidance to pupils with ALN to ensure they access the curriculum
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with pupils, teachers, and other staff members
  • Enhanced DBS and EWC registration
