Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 or small group support to children, including those with SEND, and assist in the effective implementation of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to children with SEND, including 1:1 and small group work.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of EHCPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, teaching assistants, and other professionals to develop comprehensive support plans for children.
  • Support behaviour management within the classroom and throughout the school.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Have experience working with children, including those with SEND.
  • Provide two satisfactory references.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Hold an EWC or be willing to apply for one.
