Part-time Teacher Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school. This part-time role will involve working three days a week, Monday to Wednesday, and will begin in January 2025.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of Year 3 pupils, fostering a love for learning and ensuring academic progress.
- Collaborate with the parallel class teacher to plan, assess, and share resources.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Use assessment to inform teaching, monitor progress, and provide feedback to pupils and parents.
- Engage with the wider school community and contribute to whole-school initiatives and activities.
- Support the social and emotional development of pupils, ensuring each child feels valued and encouraged to achieve their best.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils, ideally in Year 3.
- A creative and reflective approach to teaching and learning, with a passion for developing young minds.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A part-time role with a supportive staff team in a two-form entry school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
